My name Lacey Arrington and I am from the little ol’ town of Russellville, Arkansas. Well I guess it’s not that little in relation to most teeny tiny Arkansan towns, but it houses Taco Johns, and that’s definitely worth noting. I had my first photo shoot when I was 8 months pregnant with my sweet little nugget, Jude. That was about 4 and a half years ago and I’ve been trying to keep modeling in my schedule ever since. Using the word modeling and saying, “I am a model” still seems silly to me after all this time because it can be viewed as a great, woman-empowering thing, or a very self-involved thing. Personally, I see it as making art while enjoying myself and feeling FIERCE! …okay, I’m kidding about the fierce, I just wanted to quote Tyra. You got to learn the balance between dealing with criticism and loving yourself. I mean, who deep down doesn’t want to pose all awkward-sassy in funky places?

While I love seeing the after product of amazing photos, I actually love the promotional side of modeling the most. Promotional work is something I have been heavily involved with and would consider myself to be a professional in that area. Being able to feel comfortable speaking to varieties of people is definitely a God given gift! I have currently been the showgirl at the Cherokee Casinos, primarily the one in West Siloam Springs for over three years now and I LOVE IT! I’ve been an AXE angel, marketed and walked in CHI Farouk hair shows as well as other charitable fashion shows and events around the NWA area, and other promotional jobs such as a Heidi Klum fragrance event, tailgate tours with XBOX 360, SiruisXM radio, Wheat Thins, Copenhagen, and other companies. I love interacting with all kinds of people on the job, meeting and entertaining everyone is so much fun to me! I’m also in school at the University of Arkansas to get my degree in Advertising/Public relations. I feel my modeling both promotional and print, is going to help me obtain my true dream one day to move to a coast and become a celebrity publicist. Until that day comes, I will continue to pursue and advance my modeling career in the great NWA!
